I know it's been a while since I've written a blog, but I feel like sometimes it is good to wait a while until you have something fantastic to shout about!
Sooooo here I am shouting loud and proud about my new single, which will be released this Sunday on International Women's Day!

This song is dear to my heart and it has been a long time in the making. I would sing this chorus to myself as an encouragement when I was feeling low, because when I wrote it I was still going through a metamorphosis process and on my journey to where I am today.
I song write from my heart and my aim is to spread a positive message through my music and I wanted to share this song with the world to inspire and uplift! It tells the story of my struggle with low self esteem, depression, hiding behind a mask and my journey to overcome.

I also have to tell you that if it wasn't for my 4 year old son telling me to sing my own songs, this song may not be here ready for you to listen to today! His sweet little voice encouraging his mamma to sing her own songs was the kick I needed to get this song over the finish line!
So I decided to release this single on International Women's Day as a female entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, entertainer, director, producer and VERY IMPORTANTLY MUMMY to my gorgeous son CALEB, who is now very proud that I have released a new song!
I almost didn't film a video for this song because of my overly crammed schedule and expense (as an independent artist I am responsible for funding my craft), but I recently choreographed, produced and directed a new batch of promo videos for my group Sleeke and decided to squeeze a recording of myself performing this song so that you can have a visual to enjoy also!
